Came to personally show our appreciation to Spud Man. All credit to Ben. This is 100% his doing and he deserves all the plaudits for it.
Town was packed and other traders along Market Street commented that they were selling out too. 
I also checked in on how the queues etc were being managed, with the Tamworth Borough Council staff we had put on. Crowds were great, well organised and with everyone in very good spirits. 
My eldest and her friend were very happy to have their photo with the man himself, and of course to have their free jacket potatoโฆโฆโฆ.they joined the queue at 09:30am
