I stuck to my word given to some of the Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun organisers, which was that I would participate by ‘the end of the month’.
47 minutes of torture to kick off the weekend 
It was actually a really nice 5km route showcasing our fantastic Tamworth Castle, grounds and river. 
Well done once again to the organisers and volunteers! This weekly event brings in literally hundreds of tourists, puts Tamworth on the map and boosts economic activity in the vicinity
