I was at the ‘Staffordshire Leader’s Board’ this morning, which is where Council Leaders and Council CEOs come together to plan and strategise on how we can work together - not just on strategy, but on lobbying Government too.
Then this evening there was a meeting of my Cabinet at Tamworth Borough Council, where we reviewed / made decisions on areas such as:
• Draft Budget & Medium Term Financial Strategy
• Overall Performance of the Council
• Business Rates
• Annual Residents’ Survey Results
As well as some items which were ‘excluded from the public’. These were excluded as they are ‘commercially sensitive’ at the moment until fully agreed between all parties, but all I can say is - they are all good for our town 
The residents’ survey was also very interesting, the short story is: they are happy with the Tamworth Conservatives administration as we are doing the things they want.
