Out and about in Amington today to discuss some mega MEGA proposals coming along to resolve issues raised by residents of Florendine Street, Sharpe Street, Sheepcote Lane and Florendine Primary School.
I can’t spill the details yet as consultation letters will be coming out to local residents next week, to meet the team and I on 10 May to discuss the proposals.
But let’s just say this is mega and ticks several boxes to resolve concerns from residents of those streets:
speed reduction
alternative transport
children’s physical safety
safe road crossing
impedes use of route as a ‘rat run’
Plus something which will be a first in Staffordshire.
