Last night the Tamworth Conservatives Group elected Councillor Samuel Smith as its Deputy Leader. This means he will now become my Deputy, as Deputy Leader of Tamworth Borough Council.
He has made a positive impact since becoming Cabinet Member for Housing and Planning in May 2023, and has shown himself to be very measured, on top of his brief and has a desire to do what is right for Tamworth.
Congratulations Sam, and I look forward to working together for our Town.
