AMINGTON BY-ELECTION
Thank you to everyone who took the time out of their day and voted in the Amington Ward by-election. Labour held onto the seat which they had previously won this May.
Our candidate, Donna Summers - Conservative Candidate for Amington , can hold her head high after fighting a strong and clean campaign but it was not to be this time.
With both main parties, Conservatives and Labour, losing vote share since the May election itโs clear that people are frustrated in general at the moment. We Tamworth Conservatives, locally, listened in May and weโre still listening now. We will continue to put the residents of Tamworth first in our decision making and have many exciting things to deliver over the coming months.
